Awesome physics games

There are some games who push beyond mediocrity to actually achieve greatness and one important key here is advanced physics.

Despite the massive potential it's hard to find games that actually utilizes physics well. Most games even today have worse physics than the original crysis (2007).

Flight of Nova
Most spacegames today have very limiting speed caps preventing you from experiencing anything close to actual spaceship travel.

Flight of Nova however is one of the few games who actually implemented proper newtonian flight physics, air resistance and orbital mechanics.

Initially when i heard about this game i did not think it would be a game that i would spend a lot of time on but eventually my curiosity finally prevailed and i tried this amazing game.

Thanks to the great flight model it feels like you are actually fying for real. This is way more important than the quality of the graphics.

While the game isn't particularly well optimized it did provide good framerates with 13900KF and 3090 at 1440p, got consistently above 130 fps.

Reentry
The most promising upcoming game in progress might actually be reentry.

Main issue i can see is that it might take longer time to get into it than some other games.

Juno: New Origins
This is a relatively new game that does a lot of cool stuff, you can fly various rockets and visit several planets.

Kerbal Space program
Perhaps the most well known might be the first Kerbal Space Program game, people did unfortunately get very much disappointed with the sequal KSP2 and many people still prefer the original. The standard game isn't particularly great but there are mods making the game significantly better.

Other spacephysics/spaceflight simulators
First off we have simulator games such as universe sandbox and spaceengine.

There are also some spaceflight sims with really bad graphics such as orbiter and Simplerockets 2 Mobile.

Teardown
It's a highly rated physics game that sacrifices graphical details in favor of more realistic physics.
