Cults and their role in society

#2
You are too weak as an individual to do much. It was the scientology cult that were able to actually compat the psychietry system and have some success with it.

Cults are not needed in a functional society but when society is dysfunctional you do need to have a strong support network, when shit hits the fan you benefit from being a part of a functional cult over being alone.

But it will work less well if there are not blood ties keeping the group together too.

The issue with joining a cult is that you often get exploited if you are too naive and if you are too critical you might end up being expelled.

Maybe it's a good thing i no longer have a forum?
There may seem to be certain benefits at first, such as being able to get favors from certain chicks, and see everything that's going on (e.g. have access to all sub-forums).

But one of the downsides is that you end up with a target painted on your back. Let's say some chick does show you favor; now people are going to resent you because they figure you got those favors because of your status (which might be true sometimes; not always, though; actually, a lot of the time I see chicks favor guys who AREN'T admins; they could just be incelebrities. It's like how, even though powerful politicians like Bill Clinton may get some tail, rock stars probably get even more tail). And the favors typically don't amount to much anyway, at least they haven't for me; but people still get envious.

Another thing is, you're gonna get blamed for whatever people don't like about the site or its moderation practices. That's only natural, since the buck has to stop somewhere, and logically it should stop with the site owner; but none of us are perfect, so there are gonna be fuck-ups. Moderation isn't even really an exact science, and sometimes you'll never know what was the most optimal decision. Basically this is like being a cult leader; sometimes finding the truth becomes secondary to gaining popularity and enforcing tight discipline to maintain group cohesion.

Most doctrines at some point end up having self-contradictions, or there comes a point where you have to figure out how to balance conflicting principles. Often this is fairly arbitrary because we don't have a lot of good information on which to base these decisions, and it may just come down to playing favorites. At the same time, you have to act like you think your decisions are absolutely objectively correct and justified by foolproof logic and evidence, or otherwise people will see weakness and attack you.

Cults have a coolness factor and maybe they've been a force for good in the world, yet they can become kinda limiting. Unfortunately, when you go off on your own, and try to have a successful cult, it's easy to become what you hate, i.e. it's easy to feel pressure to be like the "bad cults" you got away from. For example, maybe it was bad for Incels.co to ban Zesto, but his behavior once he got involved in running sites was even worse in some ways (e.g. the 8/11 attack).

At least you need to tell yourself that now after losing everything.

You are just bad at making decision and this is why everything you have tried have been a failure, why the communities/cults you try to start fall apart.

It's always good to have power provided you make good decisions.

Sure some people will still be pissed off even if you make good decisions, you need to look at the actual numbers and ask yourself if what you are doing is working.

I initially did the mistake of being too elitistic, i realized i needed strength in numbers and i changed to "everyone is welcome to join vintologi".

Sometimes, though, you're just dealing with douchebag human capital, and there's not really much you can do with it. And they're even worse in the presence of females.

You keep making these excuses when you are the reason why you failed.

But you might have some neurological impairment, i dont know exacly what that would be but something seem to be wrong with your brain causing you to make bad decisions over and over again.

Okay, well, go ahead and try it and see how you do. But I don't think you'll cope any better with the arrival of someone like Florelle. Fortunately for you, I doubt someone like that will ever show up again in the incelosphere.

I already had at least one female show up in my vintologi discord server, it didn't cause me any issues.

If people act like retards i will just ban them, this includes you too.

I dont have a forum full of incel retards, females showing up is no problem, it's actually a good thing.

Incels are of course welcome to post here provided their content is decent.

Well, this is an intellectual site so it would attract a different crowd. This place is basically like Blackpill during the arc where you were active in a lot of the discussions. That was months before Florelle showed up, I think.

Another thing @adolf512 is that what caused the problems was that on the one hand I was being more successful with girls than a lot of people on the site, but on the other hand I was also showing "weakness," or sentimentality specifically.

They hated me for having success that they weren't having. But, they didn't really want to admit that directly.

What happened, though, was that I was also getting attached to these girls, and getting disappointed when I wasn't able to get further with them, after initial successes. And I was making this obvious to the guys on the site, in my posts, so that was what they attacked me for; the "weakness" I was showing gave them an excuse to call me bluepilled and whatnot.

There was another guy, Reggie, who was also successful with the ladies, even more so than I was, but he didn't make it obvious that he was falling for them, so guys didn't really have much of an excuse to attack him, other than by saying that it was all a larp and that he wasn't actually getting anywhere with these chicks. They had no proof of that, though; all they could do was make assumptions, which he didn't care about because he knew what they were saying wasn't true, and he regarded them as subhuman anyway.

In my case, though, they were able to point to the posts I was making, where I got sentimental about these chicks, as a reason to attack me.

So basically if you don't want to be attacked, either (1) don't let them know you're successful with the chicks, and (2) don't show any weakness/sentimentality that will give them an excuse to attack you as bluepilled.

This is mainly an issue when there's a super-desirable chick like Florelle on the site. That rarely happens; usually it's roasties, but guys can even get envious about those and want to cause trouble about them when they get mad about not being able to get in their pants.

If you're not successful with the chicks, you probably won't have a problem. I think guys resented me because I'm not SUPPOSED to be successful with them. I'm this pedo who's already enjoyed his share of success, and they feel they're more deserving and that it's their turn to be successful. So, they wanna try to tear me down however they can.

Theoretically, we're not supposed to be that way; we're supposed to root for one another's success. But there aren't enough chicks to go around, it tends to be the same guys who are successful each time when chicks show up, and you can see that their mentality is that what they can't have, they want to keep others from having. E.g. Zesto couldn't be admin at RGIF, so he just had to destroy it.

It's difficult to operate on your own and be independent, some people can pull that off but most individuals simply needs to join some existing social structure instead of trying to become a leader. Most people will just discard you as a crazy lunatic but they will often fail to point out how you are wrong.

It takes a lot of hard work to build a following, it also requires skills you do not learn at any school and it takes time before your consistently good decisions pays off. I created vintologi because i didn't view any existing religion as good.

You do need to have an army of followers behind you today or you will not go anywhere, it's not about expressing yourself well or being factually right, it's about the number of people you can get on your side. I have noticed that people such as terfs started to pay attention to me once i got a following.

Stage1: you just get ignored (few people get past this)
Stage2: people start to put effort into fighting you.
stage3: you get real power (this almost never happens).

It's only in stage 2 where the nature of your ideology actually matters, if there are too many issues with what you promote it will be difficult for you to grow past the cult stage and you will get stuck running a cult not going anywhere, this has been the case for all modern national socialist movements.

Most people will to some degree conform to their social environment and thus you need to make sure your social environment is good or you will end up making bad decisions due to getting bad advice from people around you. You do want to hang around with likeminded people when you are right since that will decrease the probability of you being gaslighted into believing in false things by normies.
