This site has been really stable since i started hosting it myself.

I have done back-up of the site many times but so far i have never had to use any of these backup files.

I have never been contacted by the company that provide hosting regarding content here, i am not sure if they even check out the sites they are hosting, i think their policy effectively is to not intervene unless swedish law is violated.

Services you pay for are far less likely to just deplatform you without warning.

From experience i know that a female indicating interest online doesn't mean much, next day she may not even remember you.

I got helped by FiC and i also figured out stuff on my own.

It's not actually that hard to have your own forum, you typically use an interface called "cpanel" which isn't the best but you figure it out after a while.

The hard part is getting visitors and active users and maintaining that.

I took the udemy course on VPS, and to my understanding : once you setup the server, you filezilla the xenforo file and then install it via the webbrowser.

also I learned that one would need 2M RAM if his site grows to over 500 visitors at a given moment, in such a case the max_connections of the SQL
conf file needs to be set to 500 to 800.

then again one could also install wordpress and install a forum plugin via the wordpress dashboard. I am more interested in the xenforo walkthrough.

I overhauled Weebs when Zesto got ownership and banned orbiting, but it was shut down. I can probably ask Zesto and see if we can bring it back.

dude, he literaly told me he was holding a grudge on me for a whole year, and he hid it till he randomly snapped on me out of the fucking blue.
he went on a frenzie and destroyed the entire larson network of sites including his own sites. he also made foids admins on some of them.

he got pissed at me for not coding fast enough and for requesting a featured tag. the guy is a back stabber, he is not in any way friend material.
I was a great friend to him and he spat on my friendship.
