As an experiment i have offered people free therapy on multiple platforms and without exception nobody took me up on it even though i offered them full confidentiality.

Hiding your IP adress
The best method for this is probably to use the tor browser, unfortunately my website
https://vintologi.com sometimes doesn't load with it but it should be possible to fix that.
I also configured my forum such that i will be the only one able to see IP-adresses of users(plus third parties such as the one hosting my forum), you do not need a valid email to register account (no email confirmation is required).
It is worth noting that often you cannot actually tie an IP address to one individual so even if your ip address does leak due to you posting on some forum you might still remain largely anonymous.

Hiding personal details
This is where the risk is, any accurate details you share regarding your life to other people could potentially be used to figure out who you are, the more people who can see that the bigger the risk is, this is the issue with using public forums for support, anyone can see that.
I do have a private discord group and i also allow private messages to be sent on my website but these messages are actually stored in plain text so the security isn't the best there.
Can i actually help people?
I have tried helping many people for free and often i realize that it's really difficult for me to really help the individual, usually due to circumstances being bad in the moment meaning there isn't really any safe way for them to improve their situation.
It's more rare that the issue is the individual being unwilling to listen to my advice.
But who am i to give advice? i am really not that successful in life despite doing well on IQ-tests and having a bachelor degree in mathematics. There is a lot of stuff i have not figured out like what the best strategy is for finding a good partner to have children with.
I do not think it's a good idea to rely on just one individual for support, it's better to be in contact with several different individuals, of course again in some situation just good advice doesn't really cut it since the individual is in a really bad spot where there isn't any safe way to improve his/her life.
People go to licensed therapist thinking their teqniques actually help people. If you just want general advice there are soo many free options for that so you are just wasting time (and often money) in addition to putting yourself in danger by going to a mental health professional.
