WWIII would be fun
Ideally we should colonize other planets first but that might not even be possible even with hardcore genetic engineering.
Unfortunatily if our civilization collapses now we will have used up a lot of fossile fuels so it would be harder to get it going again, in addition our environment will be destroyed, we might not be able to recover and end up all being exterminated by the increasingly hot sun.
