keep applying, hell it took me extra few months before i actually got anywhere. nothing really changed that much.
i just get less time for myself and media. now i stuck in a cycle of sleeping, working and understanding emacs.
haven't been on discord for a while now. i don't even run on a desktop environment anymore.
my computer use have changed and i react to this change by simply coping with reading
