There is a lot of social conditioning against becoming a teen mother and they are not given proper support
Age of Consent laws also make it more difficult to find a suitable males since you risk being jailed for making a 13 year old girl pregnant.
I thought it was funny how Bristol Palin campaigned for teen abstinence, saying, "Having a kid will fuck up your life" even as she demonstrated that having a kid will make you the center of attention and get everyone to support you in raising that kid even if the dad doesn't stick around.
It's really tough for society to try to make an example out of a chick who has a kid out of wedlock or whatever, because they don't want to punish the kid or make the kid think, "I should've never been born." At most, they might try to punish the dad by saying, "You need to pay this thot child support, as the consequence of knocking her up" because they can say, "That's for the benefit of the kid."
If we really cared about what's best for the whole family (dad, mom, and kid), though, we'd let him have the option of continuing to stay with her (and have sex with her) and financially supporting the household's living together in one home rather than having to deal with the extra expenses that go with having two homes. And he shouldn't have to pay for a babysitter so that she can pursue her educational and career aspirations rather than staying home and having more kids.
