The problem I ran into with my last suicide attempt was that I went into the woods near my own property. This has its advantages (e.g. I was able to return home easily if I forgot anything) but the problem was that the cops were able to easily find me there after my mom reported she suspected I was out there.
So it would be better if the suicidal could just find someone who'd let them stay in a vacant lot somewhere; in fact I've thought sometimes that it would be good to set up some suicide tourism where I could maybe make a few bucks by charging, say, $20 to someone to die on my land, although it would barely be enough to pay the property taxes.
Maybe what I should do is look up in the GIS the property values and try to find some vacant lot that's only worth like $5,000. The problem is, usually those are attached to property (e.g. it's property in back of someone's house) and they want to keep it as a buffer between them and their neighbors rather than having someone else have the right to go that near their house. So, they'd be reluctant to sell. Also, maybe their property is more valuable if they can throw in that land as part of the bargain when they go to sell their home.
Remember, though, if you don't assist other people's suicides, they won't assist yours.
