At the same, if a man in a relationship with a chick tries to do anything to verify whether she's telling the truth, such as checking her cell phone, or questioning her about why she was gone for three hours when she said she was just running to the store really quickly to pick up some milk and bread, this is considered abusive, controlling behavior. This is deemed to be paranoia and unwarranted trust issues on his part, which contribute to creating an unhealthy relationship. Therefore, if she actually does get caught doing something like cheating on him, she can say, "His craziness drove me away from him and into the arms of other men" and society will sympathize with her plight and say she had every right to act like that.
There's really no way to cooperate with someone when they have a natural tendency to lie, an incentive to lie, and the ability to get away with lying; and when someone complains that he was lied to and cheated, society will say that he was at fault for believing her. And that's the situation we're in with women these days. We just need separation between the sexes (and, therefore, extinction of the human race), because it doesn't look like we're bringing back patriarchy any time soon.
Theoretically, really brutal men who threaten their woman with beatings or a torturous death if she commits a betrayal could keep situations under control; and it's true that women do flock to such men. But, it's questionable whether we could build a society without also having some meeker men who just focus mainly on constructive activity and only want a low-drama relationship that's not going to distract them too much from their life's work. A civilization can't be built solely by the Paul Bernardos and Dirk Prinsloos of the world; we need some spergs too.
