Most people, when you have some business idea or whatever, will just ignore it, or make some token expression of interest like, "What's your business plan," which they then will ignore if you furnish it to them.
But flakes are different -- they'll hear you out and act like they're interested, right up to the stage where it's time to start some serious work on the project. Then they'll find an excuse to flake out.
So they're kinda like apostates. They hear the truth, and THEN reject it. That makes them worse than the ignorant unbelievers.
