Opinions about caffeine consumption?

Lately I've had this feeling in the late hours of the day, "Ugh, I feel like sleeping so that I can wake up well-rested and ready to conquer another day, but I can't sleep." I suspect it's due to too much caffeine consumption late in the day. Therefore, I'm thinking about setting a rule for myself to not drink any coffee except in the morning when I wake up (if I don't drink coffee in the PM, maybe I can also get back into a diurnal sleeping pattern).

Of course, the Mormons say you should just stay away from caffeine altogether. Any thoughts?

When addicted to a psychoactive substance it's recommend that you exponentially taper it off to zero.

The issue with mormons is that they obsess over avoiding cofee while completely ignoring the dangers of psychiatric drugs.

I thought the Mormons' view was, you just get married at a young age and use sex as your drug.
