women value men with high earning capacity because women's own ability to earn is constrained by their disadvantaged status in a male-dominated society. They argue that as societies shift towards becoming more gender-equal, women's mate selection preferences will shift as well.
Eighty-five percent of the women indicated that "As my status increases, my pool of acceptable partners decreases." In contrast, 90 percent of men felt that "As my status increases, my pool of acceptable partners increases
In the manosphere, generally people are not talking about castes and social classes, they usually refer to attractiveness, which is a completely different approach. But somehow the manosphere now believes that hypergamy is about women being attracted to Chads.
My question is: If incels are right and it is true that women select their marriage partners basing their choices primarily on physical attractiveness, then how can they be considered “hypergamous” at all?
Ideally, hypergamy is what is most beneficial to incels, since they just can acquire resources and trade them to get a female. But western societies are not as hypergamous as the societies studied by Freud, not even remotely as hypergamous.
