Seen a lot of youtube videos about how awful COD Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 will be, and how they betrayed the original fanbase. Halo Infinite is the only FPS game that is sticking true to it's own history. Halo got a long history, if the devs sold out the history of Halo as a single player game and arena focused multiplayer shooter, than the fans would revolt, they were smart to stick with the legacy of Halo and not alienate the fans unlike the new battlefield game which is chasing COD warzone fans and not the original Battlefield fans which made the series, after it and COD Vanguard will bomb this year, Halo Infinite will be the king of FPS games this year.

I do not see what's so special about halo. Aim-assist (when controller is used) is terrible game design.

Wrong, absolutely tranny PC gaming chud nonsense. Play with keyboard and mouse if you want, but controller NEEDS aim assist, without it, then controllers are useless for shooting games.

Gyro aiming is a thing, sony has supported it since ps3, it's only microsoft that refuses to implement it in their controllers.

Abother option is the touchpads the stream controller had.

There are many alternatives to mouse for precise aiming.

That's kind of the problem with them, is that they lack the fine accuracy. Also it isn't absolutely true that controller games need aim assist. Rainbow Six Vegas is an example on Xbox 360 had no aim assist.

As far as Halo: Infinite goes, I do not think the art style is very appealing, and the multiplayer aspect is way too based on microtransactions.

There are multiple ways to add accuracy to controller aiming

0. Accurate motion controls such as gyro-aiming (this is actually more immersive)
1. allow the players to push a button to change sensitivity (for fine-tuning)
2. general good set-up.

But you can also change the difficulty to compensate for poor controls (arguably less bad than aim-assist).
