Maybe, but it's also true that you wouldn't have the guts to. If you don't have the balls to do something, then obviously you're going to tend to say, "It's not worthwhile." That allows you to not feel inferior to those who do have the guts.
What you did was retarded, all that happened is that you ended up in jail for years, total failure.
It's a very bad example of political activism since the personal cost is very high (over 4 years in jail plus being subjected to psychiatry) for no real political change.
