The honeycrisp was an apple that was perfected to be way juicier than the norm. Certain chicks are the same way too -- they have some unique characteristics that set them apart from other girls. They should just be cloned.

Look how much progress we made developing high-quality plants and animals, once we started being willing to breed them selectively and clone them. We'd have better-quality chicks if we did the same with them.

One big issue is that females currently age badly which limits the fertility, sure they could have children early but most females today are very unwilling to do that, they want to wait until they have financial security (or they just use that as excuse).

Life as a women really isn't that great past 40, could we fix that somehow?

The solution to infatuation (a.k.a. oneitis) is controlling one’s own mind. There are protocols like cognitive therapy that can help. Basically it consists in making oneself aware of what one is thinking and feeling then separate thoughts from feelings and using reason to eliminate or reduce one’s undesired thoughts.

They should just be cloned.

We can only tell which girls are hot after they have grown up. The clones would be much younger; therefore not interchangeable. For example, if you are infatuated with a 17 year old girl and you get a clone (assuming that was legally and economically feasible), the clone would be a baby. There is no guarantee that the clone will like you. In principle you can force the clone to be your partner/sex slave/etc. In that case there is no gain over doing the same over forcing the non-clone woman.

That is a different matter. I am all for eugenics including selective breeding and sterilization or extermination of the unfit. There are many benefits for it. It does not yield a solution to infatuation; a solution to infatuation can only come from a conscious effort to overcome it (see first paragraph).

Isn't one solution to infatuation, to get hold of the object of your infatuation? Cloning would make that easier. It's like if you really crave, idk, a certain kind of soda, and you're able to easily satisfy this desire by going to the store and getting a can of it. An example might be vanilla Coke; I thought it had disappeared from the shelves but I found a case of it at Walmart. Then I drank it and was like, "Oh okay, it's all right, nothing as special as how I remembered it, but drinkable."

The honeycrisp is the same way except the demand for it is so strong that it may never disappear from the shelves. So if you crave one of those apples, you can probably find a big bin of them at the supermarket. You don't have to just sit around imagining how tasty one would be, and feeling frustrated.

With inanimate objects yes. Your example of a soda is fitting to illustrate the point: You consume it and it satisfies the cravings. With people it does not work that way. You can be with the person you are infatuated with and that can only reinforce the infatuation. There is no analogy to consuming people to satisfy the craving. Having sex would do if it was mere lust. Infatuation is much bigger than that. One wants to consume and own the subject of one’s infatuation as in locking her where she is always available for you so that you will not lose her because of an accident or because she goes with somebody else.

Where's the problem with this? Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Don't we usually lock up the possessions that we treasure.

In that case locking her where she is available to one and safe from (other’s) harm works fine. You could proceed by making her comfortable to elicit Stockholm syndrome or literally consuming her as in drinking her blood and eating her meat.
