But what about intersex children being mutilated and forced into one sex? what about forced psychiatric treatments?
Becuase these things already take place and are done by doctors people will think it's normal.
If forced transitions from male to female where implemented at significant scale people would view it as normal that we forced some males to live as female instead "for their own good" or "because they would otherwise be more dangerous".

People do mental gymnastics to defend AoC laws no matter how retarded they are. Of course in reality there is no good reason to make it illegal to have sex with teens, that makes it more difficult for teen girls to find good partner and easier for incels/pedophiles who are willing to break the law just to get sex.
People often think really bad things are going to happen if AoC is lowered but in countries (such as germany) where AoC is relatively low there are not much in terms of issues. If it's the norm for females to have sex at a given age then society is going to support them in finding suitable partners and be critical when doing the selection, oldcels are going to have a hard time competing against younger and better looking males.
