Why do foids get put in charge of discussing Bitcoin

"what's called the blockchain"

Also, I can't tell what this chick's current name is, Andrea Castillo or Andrea O'Sullivan. Did she dump her husband and go back to her maiden name or what? Hard to say. This type of confusion is another reason why it's a disaster to allow foids to both be involved in the professional world and get a divorce.

Few people actually understand how bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies work.

Current throuighput is about 3 transactions per second, they claimed the lightning network will add to that allowing significant scaling which is probably nonsense.

What's the transaction cost these days? Say I wanted to donate $500 to Anglin via Bitcoin; how much would that set me back?

They don’t even ask to the correct foids, there are many who studied Bitcoin in their math classes. Ask to them instead to business nobodies
