There are a lot of youtube channels that specialize in providing people with 'information' unfortunately almost without exception these people are not particularly reliable. They might get one video right only to screw up the next one.

Youtube do not really reward people from being consistent and accurate in terms of spreading information, instead people are rewarded for click-bait and being good entertainers.

While she is good in terms of explaining well-established physics she is pretty bad when she go into more speculative theories or outside her expertise.

She made some questionable claims:

The standard model works just fine
No the standard model of particle doesn't work just fine, it require a large number of free parameters while still failing to fully describe our reality (dark energy, dark matter, gravity, etc).

We still doesn't have accurate values for the neutrino masses, if we had a more fundamental theory it's likely we could have calculated these masses more accurately than we currently can measure.

science doesn't tell us how we ought to act
Actually we can go from an is statement to an ought statement, it's just very difficult

you do not have free will
In order to falsify free will in the sense of "ability to have done otherwise" you need to show that our universe is deterministic.

Conscious free will require quantum consciousness in addition to quantum mechanics to be non-deterministic, as far as i know quantum consciousness hasn't been generally falsified.

They made multiple interesting videos examining theories for what happened before the big bang, it is of course very unlikely any of these theories are correct but they videos still contained a lot of important information.

Physics Videos by Eugene Khutoryansky
She does a decent job explaining physics but it's not fully reliable

She claimed that the big bang was a white hole which is questionable.

Did fermilab get the twin paradox wrong?
He made a confusing video regarding the twin paradox

He claimed the resolution had nothing to do with acceleration which is false.

He was both in south afrika and later moved to china, he did well living there for over 10 years but eventually he had to leave due to nationalists in china not liking him

One of the better youtube channels run by a doctor. He actually put effort into reading scientific paper and i have not yet seen anything very questionable from him.

He moved to china and does a good job making videos from a different perspective.

He has made several satirical videos

They are controlled by the chinese government and will provide news more from their perspective. Of course they are not too reliable when it comes to actually being truthful but some of their videos are still worth watching.

He has a lot of knowledge regarding religions, especially Christianity. He is good at debunking religious nonsense but he is also clearly wrong about important subjects.

We do not have a soul
As far as i know the quantum-soul theory has never been falsified.

There is no chance in evolution
That's false again and there is no evidence for determinism.

Secular humanism is the correct world-view
No it's not, it comes into conflict with (individual, group, cultural, societal) survival of the fittest.

It is sometimes claimed that humans have evolved to be compassionate and while this is true to a degree humans have also evolved towards brutality, this is something we see a lot in various societies, especially the stronger ones.

Humans are being socialized to be nice but once that socialization is in the other directions we are very cabable of seriously harming other people. The fact that the legal system often punishes violent individuals does not mean being violent cannot be beneficial, you just need to find legal ways to engage in violence that is beneficial for you.

What evolution does favor is following regulations set out by society, that is not the same as genuine empathy.

Gatis Lagzdins is a very interesting character with based and often correct takes on many issues.

Generally he is in favor of naturalsm and pleasing yourself (such as having sex with a young girl). He rejects you forcing yourself to do stuff you don't want in order to conform to society.

It does not seem like he is eating only meat, he is obviously not the type of person who would force himself to do that just to follow some diet (which isn't supported by any evidence in the first place) he just eat what he wants among foods he views as natural.

There are of course many of his views that are incorrect. For example he has claimed that a value of a women massively drops if she loses her virginity which does go against evolution, in reality the main thing that matters is the expected reproductive success from engaging with her. It's also difficult to verify that females are virgins in the first place, they can just lie about it.

The reason why i still recommend watching his channel is because he does offer a valuable perspective. He completely rejects modern morality and dogma and he is actually fun to watch.

Gaining Strength
He used to believe in the vegan diet but he later changed his mind and noticed significant improvement in health after switching to a diet consisting of mostly meat. He does not actually advocate against eating plant-foods, he just thinks that eating a lot of meat is beneficial (to get all the nutrients you need, etc).

Unfortunatily many of his videos are now deleted (by him or youtube).

He has made some great videos regarding which PC parts to buy, for example he did give good advice regarding if you should buy a GPU now or wait. Obviously it makes sense to buy hardware you need now so you can enjoy it right away rather than waiting and then see the GPU you waited for sell out in 6 seconds.

Here he compared the 3050 with the 6600xt "i want to decleare both losers" when they only got 60fps

This is very different digital foundry who frequently call 30fps "smooth" (console focused channel). In reality you need around 100fps to get a good experience (higher is still better of course).

He is an hilarious semi-scammer who is into chasing high fps. He is charging 500$ for unstable oc which is a massive ripoff but his actual content is actually very entertaining a lot of time, just be very skeptical regarding his overclocking advice.

A lot of things he says in his videos are still on point, he has the balls to point out how bad AMD is. He can afford to be brutally honest since he doesn't depend on sponsorships or review samples.

If it wasn't for people throwing so much money on him he wouldn't be able to test so much high-end hardware.

If you actually want to overclock i would recommend the actually hardcore overclocking channel and learn to do it yourself.

https://www.chambertech.net/fps charges 100$ for a much better overclocking service (they actually try to make the OC stable).

I'm actually currently working on such an algorithm.

the brain learns by:
  1. trial and error
  2. pattern recognition prediction with experience
  3. and by listening to what others say

the 3rd 0ne is different, because you don't know if the people talking are lying
if an algorithm from ex1 fails it could mean trying again may work so you can persevere
however, the 3rd one failing could also means you were lied to

well there are some more layers to it, like resistance to learned liers, such curry tutorial videos
indians are the #1 exporters of scams and spams

This is one of the better tech-channels, he explained why buying a 7950x3d isn't a good idea for example.
