Understanding TERF

I followed some international communities where TERF feminism has been more widely represented.

This specific brand of feminism, in my opinion, has to do with foids who have a career in institutions, they usually use feminism as a hook to gain popularity and then promote their other ideas, not related to feminism at all.

The TERF group is big. I don’t think they have power in academic contexts, they are politicians for the majority. Am I right?

Terf claim to be in favor of equality and state that trans girls have male privilege, they are really good at mental gymnastics rationalizing their transphobia.

There wouldn't be any need for this mental gymnastics if they were female supremacists "i am superior becuase i can give birth", then there is the issue with infertile cis females they are unwilling to openly throw under the bus.

TERFs get destroyed in pretty much all somewhat open debates so them being deplatformed from reddit is actually a disaster for them and they will probably not be able to recover.

Even on spaces where they would be tolerated they will usually not post there if they cannot censor people that point out how they are wrong, this is what happened on the askAGP subreddit.

Male feminists are an interesting breed, he claimed feminism would help men but the only 2 examples he could give were

0. The issue with incels is that they feel like they have to conquer woman
1. Males are unwilling to seek mental health treatment

The reality is of course the exact opposite of that, the issue incels have is that they are rejected by the opposite sex and yes this is due to feminism (liberali feminism to be exact).

Liberal feminists are just more rational when it comes to screwing over men, they are willing to offer males things like porn, paying sex-workers and medical transition as solution for being rejected by the opposite sex. Most males shouldn't reproduce but we can still throw them some bones to keep them complaisant as we exterminate them slowly.

Males are actually far less likely to attempt suicide than females but when they do they are far more effective at it. There is no evidence that psychiatry helps people that are mentally ill, no evidence i am aware of that show psychotherapy is better than pacebo.

So while it is often claimed that being reluctant/unwilling to "seek help" is a bad thing it's actually a healthy traits since otherwise bad things might happen to you, people can see you are in a bad spot and use that to harm you even more, this happens all the time.

Of course they can still claim that they are not comfortable with having people who look like males use female bathrooms but then they would simply be advocating against early social transition and which is fine.

The issue however is that TERFs are against medical transition that would allow trans girls to pass as female and thus use female bathrooms without any real issues.

I don’t understand precisely your anti psychiatry stance.

Many people need a scammer in their life, that’s why they buy Peterson advices and other garbage. Some people need a personal bullshitter assistant, a psychiatrist or therapist.

Not everyone is the same. Some people are happy when companies take care of their mental illnesses, others feel like they are losing agency and they suffer.

I am not against psychiatry as a whole. Suffice is to stay away from psychiatrists if you don’t like them.

That will not fully protect you against psychiatry.

Also if other people have their mental abilities impaired that will affect society as a hole negatively, especially in democracies.
